We have decided to truly make Sunrise Ranch a wildlife haven. In that light we fenced part of the ranch so that we can control genetics and harvest for a truly amazing experience. Trophy Mule deer across the west are becoming increasing difficult to encounter. We manage our herd so that they can reach a mature age and develop their full genetic potential. Most all animals under government management are simply harvested at too young of an age and never allowed to fully develop. Although this ties up our resources for a longer time, we are committed to providing an extraordinary experience for our clients. We manage our Elk and Whitetail in the same manner. We offer hunt styles to fulfill our guests dream hunt. We mostly spot and stalk, however we can do this on foot or from the back of our very dependable Fjord horses if that is what your vision of a perfect hunt. For those with more decades of experience than their body can handle we also hunt from blinds that we can drive to close proximity. To complete the experience, we have also included a herd of buffalo on our ranch. Although a buffalo trophy is too large for many this is still on the dream list of North American big game for some. If high quality natural meat is your goal, we offer meat hunts as well as trophy hunts for both elk and buffalo. We have an excellent taxidermist that picks up from the ranch so your memories can be perfectly preserved.
